The Best Knives
I have used a wide variety of knives in my life. German steel knives were always my favorite, until I tried Global knives. They are a Japanese company, the knives are solid steel (no wood handles) are are by far the sharpest knives I have ever owned!
Global 8″ Chef’s Knife – This is my go-to all purpose knife.
Global 5″ Vegetable Knife – I find it very handy to have a second, shorter knife for slicing those smaller vegetables and fruits.
Global 3.5″ Pairing Knife – Finally, every cook should have a good pairing knife for things coring fruits, slicing cherry tomatoes, etc…
Global Knife Sharper – IMPORTANT: You cannot sharpen these with standard knife sharpeners. The edge of the knife is different from standard knives and so a specific type of sharpener is required.
